Abiye Karibi-Whyte, Managing Director

Abiye has over 15 years experience in the Nigerian Capital Market. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and has worked in several Stock Broking Firms across the country. He secured the mandate to act as Stock Broker to the NITEL IPO, while working with NOVA Finance & Securities Ltd. He also worked on several Initial Public Offerings and Private Placements on behalf of the firm.

He played a significant role in securing the landmark transaction of Heineken Breweries, in purchasing the shares of Nigerian Breweries Plc to become a core investor in Nigeria Breweries Plc.

Odun Odunfa, Director

Odun Odunfa’s banking career spans almost two decades in Treasury, Corporate & Investment Banking and Retail Banking in Fountain Trust, Citizens, Ecobank & Capital Bank International. He left commercial banking in April 2007, having become a Regional Director (Deputy General Manager) in UBA where he managed a balance sheet of close to $300 million, to join Resort Group (Resort International Ltd, Bi-Courtney Ltd & Stabilini Visinoni Ltd) as Treasurer with a balance sheet in excess of $1billion. He was also the Project Director for a petrochemical plant development valued at over $800m.

Oye Balogun, Director

Oye Balogun is a versatile entrepreneurial executive with over 18 years experience, including legal practice, infrastructure development, property development and commerce. He has been a partner at Oyewole Balogun & Co, a commercial law firm, since 1991, and the Managing Director of JB Maye PDC, a property development company, since 2006. Additionally, he has been the Managing Director of Chrisore Engineering since 2004 and served as the Managing Director of Gold Estates, a property development company, from 2003 to 2005.
